Calibration
PreparingtheCalibration
Standardweightsarerequiredforcalibration(notsupplied).A200gramora400gramstandard
canbeused.
WarmuptheSC600foratleast30minutesbeforestartingthecalibration.
IMPORTANTCALIBRATIONNOTE:
Before calibrating the SC600 determine the expected weight measurements that will be
encounteredduringnormal
use.Forexpectedweightmeasurementsupto200gramsplease
performa200gramcalibration.Forexpectedweightsabove 200gramspleasecalibratetothe
400gramstandard.
400gramcalibration:
1. AftertheSC600iswarmedup,gentlyplacethe400gramstandardweightonthecenterof
the
weightplatform.Iftheweightdisplaydoesnotshowexactly400gramsthencontinue
with the procedure, otherwise calibration is not required and the procedure can end at
thispoint
2. PresstheCALbuttononceandthedisplaywillshow‘200grams’
3. PresstheTAREbuttononceandthe
displaywillshow‘400grams’
4. PresstheCALbuttononceagainandthedisplayvalue(400g)willflashsix(6)times.
5. Calibration is now complete. Calibration data will be stored internally in nonvolatile
memory meaning that calibration data will be saved even when the SC600 is powered
OFF.
200gramcalibration:
1. AftertheSC600iswarmedup,gentlyplacethe200gramstandardweightonthecenterof
theweightplatform.Iftheweightdisplaydoesnotshowexactly200gramsthencontinue
with the procedure, otherwise calibration is not required and the procedure can end at
